Live Music Mondays: Presenting Pete Denomme

There are musicians who play shows, and then there are musicians who seem most at home when there’s an audience in front of them.

Pete is the latter.

A London, Ontario singer-songwriter, Pete performs solo and as part of Old School and The Cosmic Cowboys. His songs move comfortably through folk, rock, country and blues, tied together by a love of storytelling and the kind of songwriting that comes from paying attention to people, places and life as it happens.

With more than 100 live performances each year, the stage is familiar territory. He has recorded both here in London and in Nashville, and after a lifetime spent around music as both an artist and venue owner, he’s still looking for the next song, the next story and the next reason to play.

For Pete, music isn’t something he simply does.

It’s part of how he lives.
