Why is it Unique?
The uniqueness of the JJRT Intake Assessment and Leisure Interest Survey lies in the delicate balance we’ve struck between comprehensivity and simplicity. These tools were born from years of direct client interaction and rigorous testing, evolving into a system that captures essential data without overwhelming the individual.
This evolution was driven by our observation that previous, lengthier assessments often led to feelings of overwhelm for both clients and employees. By reflecting deeply on what information is truly vital at each stage of the therapeutic journey, we shifted our approach to ensure our forms are as accessible as they are insightful.
Our philosophy is built on the understanding that an intake provides a necessary snapshot to begin building rapport, while true assessment is an ongoing, dynamic process. This streamlined transition allows you to gather just the right amount of information to feel prepared and confident in supporting a client, while leaving space for their story to unfold naturally through every session.
Strengths-Based Design
At the heart of our work is a strengths-based philosophy that prioritizes an individual’s unique character and potential over diagnoses or perceived deficits. While clinical data provides important context, we view it as just one piece of the larger mosaic that makes up a person. Our tools are designed to reflect this, ensuring that every intake serves as a foundation for empowerment and connection.
